So working pretty much feels like college, except you have to wear slick and classy costumes. I had my pencil case, notebook and calculator all ready together with my pumps and pearl earrings.

I don't have an assigned cubicle, phone and office supplies yet. My "headquarters" is officially in the training room. All I get is a computer, email account and ID/access card for the time-being. The good news is there is always free-flowing coffee, tea and juice. Hurray for caffiene!

The first two days were just orientations, first about the business units and second about the commercial departments. Our President/CEO is a British Bill Clinton look-alike who likes to make British jokes that no one seems to get. On the first day, we got a surprise in the form of a mock presentation. We were given 30 minutes to prepare and I panicked coz I have a weakness in understanding electrical/electrical engineering-related products. What made it even worse was they videotaped our presentations so they can point out our mistakes when we watch it in slow-mo (wwaahhh!) and have a before-and-after evaluation after they enroll us in speech presentation classes.

By Wednesday, we discussed the commercial roles and functions, which pretty much layed the foundation of what I'm supposed to do should I graduate from this program. It excited me because I realized how much I'll learn, but at the same time overwhelemed me because I know there are certain things I need to seriously brush up on (think accouting for CPAs). By night, we had to go on a "field trip" to the call center to learn how it runs as a business. Grabe, I just realized how hard it is to understand accents especially kapag bangag ka na. There's British, Turkish, German, etc. and United Nations of Gibberish talaga. So I was kinda dazed while the foreign bosses/heads were babbling about god-knows-what.

By Thursday, we were learning stuff under internal audit. Hello Galura. Mind you, gwapo yung lecturer. But the highlight of it was the fact that while I was riding the elevator on the way up, Mamee texted that Aryani will be leaving by Sat. Wwaah, cannot be! Walang hiyang bruha na yan, hindi nag-sasabi! So we all met up at Greenbelt for dinner at Cafe Bola so we can say our goodbyes. RA modeled for PSBank which really made me laugh. It made me laugh even more when I saw the pics. I touched his newly-grown bigote and it was real! I took one of his 1x1 pics and sticked it to my ID.

By Friday, I was so sleepy coz I got home a little late but had to be at the office by 730am for a field trip. It was pretty interesting because we toured the warehouses and learned how everything works. The rest of the day was super fun because we had this interactive personality/psychology thingie to discover more about ourselves and understand others. It was only then that I realized why we worked the way we worked during our CTK days or any projects for that matter. Astig. Psychology is cool. But it wasn't the end of the day yet coz we had a group study session (instead of partying like crazy). Yes, I have warmed up to the company, to my co-apprentices and other officemates and realized I want to stay here so todo kayod para pumasa. I also love the competitive yet harmonious environment. The competitiveness motivates you and the people are all helpful and funny.

Today, I was supposed to self-tutor myself in accounting and review the past week's lessons but instead Dede, Ray and I went to Aryani's house to bid her one last farewell. Grabe hindi kami nakapag-paalam ng maayos pero OK lang, at least we had fun and had a great last farewell. Huhu. As I write this shit, Arianne is now on a plane and about to join the kangaroos.

There's Nothing More To Say ;
