BUM LIFE ENDS IN A WEEK

So yesterday I had breakfast with my high school friends at (of all places) Jollibee. It's so wierd we're all taking different paths and going through different phases.

In the afternoon, I went over at Siemens to sign my contract as a commercial apprentice aka management trainee. I thought about it long and hard since this will bind me with the company for almost three years. I will go under training for the next eight months, alternating class lectures and hands-on work every three weeks until the program ends. Now there's a reason why I still had so many unused notebooks left in my cabinet.

There's no guarantee of regular employment afterwards since my performance during the training program will still be evaluated by my personal mentor. I don't have a salary nor any regular benefits for the duration of the program except for monetary allowance which falls a little more than the minimum. Needless to say, I did not get into this for the compensation!

But I am excited about it all-together, even if I also feel nervous (especially after finding out how much my bond would cost haha). And I love the office, the people, the cafeteria (babaw), the view from the office (babaw again), tha parking, the security, the surrounding food establishments, the elevators, and of course the company.

After Siemens, I headed straight to Ortigas and did some retail therapy, actually more like window shopping at Shangrila. The clothes I needed to buy for work were already running through my mind as I passed from one shop to the other.

I ate dinner with my family and relatives at Heat. My grandma and uncle were leaving the following day so it was our last get-together. Too bad I can't be at two places at the same time so I missed Moe's party.

There's Nothing More To Say ;
