Today I went to Kristine's house to help her make a Christmas gingerhouse village for a competition she's having at CSB. Actually it's just 3 houses with a lot of tiny details so it looks more like a neighborhood street rather than a village. It took a lot of time to actually make it coz there's the kneading of the dough, basking it in the sun, baking it etc. etc. not to mention the designing and coloring. They were not allowed to use food coloring so they had to fish out the colors from natural food (e.g. brown= coffee bean, green= herbs). I made an attempt to make a tiny dog house with the dog inside, tiny gifts, garlands, the rosebush garden, snowman and angel. No one could make a Santa Claus coz it was too hard! Kristine's partner, her sister and Mimi also helped out an we all smelled like baked flour.
A conversation with Arianne in YM over dorms led me to think ( desire) living in a nearby dorm myself. There's a lot of cool places along Katipunan actually but if ever I will bring a maid along with me to cook my meals, clean the place and wash my laundry. I also need a car ! It's a hassle to travel from my house to Ateneo and back everyday. But living in a dorm will never happen. Why? Coz MY MOTHER FORBIDS ME TO EVEN GO/WALK ALONG/ EAT ALONG KATIPUNAN OR "ANYWHERE OUTSIDE ATENEO" coz there's a lot of KIDNAPPING, SNATCHING, ETC. going around. And yes IN A FEW MONTHS IAM TURNING 20...
